Celebrate the Journey
Kristina Werner has come up with another great Color Inspiration challenge this week, and so here's my card using the colors!
I also used the sketch for this week from Card Positioning Systems! I've always wanted to try out their sketches each week, but never seem to be able to squeeze it in with everything else on my agenda. Well, it came together nicely today along with this great new stamp set from My Favorite Things!
I went back to an old stand-by to color my images today... the Gamsol Magic technique! I decided my Prismacolor pencils hadn't seen the light of day in awhile, so out they came! I'm going to have to remember to use those more often... it was fun to try again!
I hope you like my card! Feels like the mojo is back a little, so whoever was responsible for sending it back my way... thank you! And thanks for visiting me today!
Stamps: Going Places (My Favorite Things); Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive (Stampin' Up!), white (Gary Burlin); Inks: Staz-On Jet Black, Versafine Onyx Black (Tsukineko), Cool Caribbean (for sponging), Real Red (Stampin' Up!); Accessories: colored pencils (Prismacolor), Gamsol and blending stumps (Inky Antics), scalloped circle, standard circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders).
