Stamp Simply #38 - Silhouettes
Here's my sample card for the Stamp Simply Challenge #38 today to use a silhouette or solid-image stamp in your design. As soon as Sharon told us what this week's challenge would be, I knew immediately that this was the stamp I had to use! It's one of my very fave Hero Arts stamps. And using a stamp like this for the challenge makes it so quick and easy, that I have a little extra time to do some stitching for embellishment!
Although we typically think of black when we think of a silhouette (remember back in Kindergarten when they'd sit you in front of a spotlight and trace your silhouette for a Mother's Day gift???) your solid image or silhouette can be as colorful as you like! Anything goes, and if you don't happen to have a stamp that fits this category, simply use a line drawing stamp and then either paper piece it to fill it in or color it in. Fantastic card! Love the rik-rak and your stitching is PERFECT!! I hope to do a card for this challenge myself today (DH went to work). Thanks for inspiration!

Tammy, this stamp is a fave of mine too! I love how you can color it up with chalks, ink it up with marker or do a stunning card like you did with basic black! Love all the accents you added!It's all in the details here!! Have a great weekend!
