I got some Die Cuts with a View cardstock at the store recently, and wanted to show customers what you can do with the white-core cardstock and your Cuttlebug. So I thought I'd use Cindy's sketch challenge in the My Favorite Things on SCS and this little MFT set that's been popular with customers to show it off!
If you've never tried this before, it's just the neatest trick! Your cardstock has to have a white core (SU! cardstock won't work). There is a fairly new brand of cardstock too that's called Core-dinations that would work, too. I don't think that cardstock has a white core, but it has a matching color core. Take a scrap of cardstock and tear it. If the torn edge is white or a lighter or darker color, this will work! Run the cardstock through your Cuttlebug with an embossing folder. After removing it, lightly sand with a sanding block over the raised embossing, and you'll get this cool effect!
Give it a try, then leave me a link in a comment here so I can see how yours turned out!
Happy stamping!

I read this the other day and didn't have the time to comment. This is a great card, and I love the use of Cuttlebug. I did this using CTMH paper with the dotted CB folder. Great! TFS!
