Very often, I just run out of time, but Jen's Sketch for You to Try is one I hate to miss. So I made it a top priority yesterday when I sat down for some serious stamping time, and got it done!
I picked up this gorgeous My Mind's Eye paper, and yummy lace on a little imprompu trip to Archiver's on Saturday. And so I used Sharon's Stamp Simply/Coffee set from Flourishes for this card because I thought it was a great pairing of paper, embellishments and images. Plus that big coffee cup is so fun to paper-piece!
I also wanted to make a card this weekend for the challenge at Our Creative Corner. Their challenge this weekend was to make a card with some dry embossing. Well, this didn't end up having very much on it, but I did emboss the label/tabs after I cut them out with my Nestabilities. Hopefully maybe those OCC girls will give a Color Throwdown a try sometime, too? I think it would be fun to combine our challenges sometime, don't you?! :)
I hope you have a great week! Happy stamping!
Stamps: Coffee with Friends (Flourishes); Cardstock: Whirlpool (Bazzill), designer paper (My Mind's Eye); Ink: Versafine Onyx Black (Tsukineko); Accessories: Nestabilities scalloped rectangle, label tags (Spellbinders), antique silver brads (Making Memories), pearl brad (K & Company), flower, lace (craft supply).
