Your Stamp Simply challenge from Sharon Johnson this week is to do a card that is basically white on white. You may add some very light pastels if you like — but keep the color scheme as light/white as you can.
For my card, I quickly cut out a scalloped rectangle with my Nestabilities, then ran it back through the Cuttlebug with the Leafy Branch embossing folder. I stamped my leafy branch image in Versamagic Aloe Vera ink, and stamped it off once to lighten. Very simple, but elegant design. I thought it would be appropriate for a sympathy card... I just hope I don't have to use it anytime soon!
The complete details can be found on Sharon's blog, along with her GORGEOUS sample!
The other Stamp Simply team members will have samples for you to see on their blogs soon, and I'll update these links as soon as I can!
Take time to stamp and play along this weekend! I can't wait to see what you create!
Stamps: leafy branch (Great Impression), sentiment (Stampin' Up!); Cardstock: pale green (Bazzill), white (Gary Burlin); Ink: Versamagic Aloe Vera (Tsukineko); Accessories: Leafy Branch Cuttlebug embossing folder (ProvoCraft), scalloped rectangle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), ribbon (Offray).
Oh my, this is so, so stunning!!! I LOVE this, I need that folder and this is the perfect sympathy card!!! Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous creation!!!

Tammy: What an absolutely graceful sympathy card! Just the right amount of color but allowing the purity of the white design (love that Cuttlebug!) showing. Thanks for inspiring again!
