Today's Stamp Simply challenge will please all the US Postal Workers! Today we are making our cards FLAT! That's all -- no other requirements. Now, FLAT, does not mean it has to be a 1-layer card! You CAN use layers of paper, even light weight ribbon, but the end result of your card must be so flat that there is NO QUESTION when we look at it that it'll go for one stamp only. When inserted in an envelope it should have NO noticeable lumps, bumps or humps.
For my card, I started to make mine square but then thought I'd better not because a square envelope costs more to mail! But I did end up making mine square after all (as you can see!) because it measure 4 1/4" square... it'll fit into an A2 envelope! Ta-dah!
I used my new 3-Step Pansy set from Kitchen Sink Stamps to make a Fall pansy for my card! And thanks to my super-duper Stampin' Up demo (and fabulous friend!) Anita, I got some new designer paper this week, and decided to use it today! I didn't use any foam tape or dimensionals on my card so it wouldn't be quite as thick, and I used a thin ribbon to reduce bulk.
I hope you'll find time to play today or over the weekend! This challenge would be really good for Christmas cards, because if you're mailing a lot of them it's always a good thing when you can save on postage! Leave a comment on Sharon's blog with a direct link to your card, and if you upload to SCS remember to use the keywords ssnotime58. Use those keywords for any other online galleries you use, too! Like Paper Craft Planet where I will be uploading mine!

Wow, Tammy! This card is just flat-out gorgeous! Which proves, of course, that cards don't have to be lumpy and bumpy to be beautiful! I love those Kitchen Sink stamps, too. WOW again!
