I've been blog browsing as time allows lately, and discovered this sketch/supply challenge on the Limelight Papercrafts blog and decided to give it a try! Any card created for this challenge was to be linked to the Limelight blog by Sunday evening. Well, I'm coming in just under the wire or maybe I'm a little late but here's what I created using my Billy stamps from Pink Cat Studio. My hubby helped me out a little this past week with the showcase at the store, and he very sweetly bought me new floor mats for my Trail Blazer yesterday for Sweetest Day, so I thought I'd make him a card!
The challenge was to follow the sketch above, and to make a "manly" card using hardware instead of glitter and glam, so I think I nailed the challenge! I love these metals moulding strips from Making Memories. I got this one in a gift exchange a long time ago, and wish I could find them somewhere because this is almost the last of it! My zig-zag border is made with punches from my SU! photo corner punch! So thanks to the Limelight Ladies for a fun challenge! I will definitely be watching for more!
Thanks for stopping by! Sometime tomorrow I'll get the measurements written down for the Hot Cocoa Treat! The delay is because this is my 3-day weekend off and the original design is at the store. When it's my time off, I try not to stop in at the store if I can help it so I can't get those measurements unless I just make up another one, which I will do tomorrow!
Happy stamping!

Cute manly card, and really like the way you used the corner punches for a special effect; can't wait to try it on a card today!
