Today's the day! Our first Kitchen Sink Crew challenge! Every two weeks, the Crew members will be taking on a new challenge, and we invite you to play along! You don't have to use Kitchen Sink Stamps to play, but if you do use 100% Kitchen Sink Stamps on your creation, and it fits in with the Attitude of Gratitude theme for the What's Cookin' with Your Kitchen Sink Stamps contest, then you can enter it for a chance to win!
Today's challenge was issued by our awesome leader, Maria and the challenge was to use silver or gold in our design. I chose to use gold, and made a set of 12 cards for a lady at my church. She is almost a shut-in herself, but loves to have cards to send to our members who are shut-ins, so I provide her with a stack of cards every other month or so! I used brushed gold cardstock for the scalloped square behind my leaf, and used gold Encore ink for the "harvest greetings" sentiment. My leaf is from the 3-Step Autumn Squirrel stamp set, and I stamped it in More Mustard, then Really Rust, and then Chocolate Chip. The sentiment comes from Ready 4 Any Holiday. I actually cut apart the stamp that says "holiday greetings" to make my sentiment for these cards.
Be sure to check out the creations from the rest of the Crew, too!

I love how you captured the golden beauty of this season. It reminds me of a poem I read with my 1st graders called *October Alchemy*. Where it describes showers of golden leaves and streets lined in gold. What a wonderfully thoughtful gift. BEE-U-TEE-FUL!

Now that's a simple and elegant card. I now see why you were able to get 12 done so fast. It's amazing, we do-dad the heck out of our cards and scrapbook pages, but we some times forget that elegance is also in the simplicity of things. You have definitely proved it with this card Tammy.
Hugs,
