It's Kitchen Sink Monday and time again for another design team challenge! This week, our challenge host is Angela, and she chose this image by photographer Rachel Denbow for us to use as inspiration. If you want to play along, we would love to see your creation! Remember, if you use 100% Kitchen Sink Stamps in your design you can enter it in the What's Cookin' with Your Kitchen Sink Stamps contest! The theme this month is Attitude of Gratitude. One winner in each category will win some Kitchen Sink Stamps, and one lucky person wins the chance to become a Kitchen Sink Guest Designer!
For my card, I pulled inspiration from the colors, of course. Then looked more closely at the picture as a whole and used the aqua blue "pegboard" in the background, and the lines from the shelves as further inspiration. My pineapple image comes from the 3-Step Aloha stamp set. I figured what better image to use when a kitchen is our inspiration piece than something that would be found in the kitchen! I stamped my pineapple and the leaves in these color combos...
1 - Marigold Morning
2 - More Mustard
3 - Close to Cocoa
1 - Certainly Celery
2 - Old Olive
3 - Always Artichoke
4 - Chocolate Chip
I hope you'll make time to play along! Upload your card to your blog, but also take a moment to upload to Papercraft Planet, and leave a comment in the Kitchen Sink group with a link to your card so we can all see your creation! I'm not sure if we're using a "tag" for the challenge cards, but if we do I'll let you know!
Check out the work of the other Kitchen Sink Crew members, too!
