Greetings everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
In the hopes that some of you may have gotten some new stamping supplies for Christmas, today’s Stamp Simply challenge is to make a card using some of your NEW TOYS! If you didn’t get anything new for Christmas, just use the newest thing you have — whether it be stamps, paper, tools, embellishments — whatever — just use your newest things!!! And be sure to tell us what you got new that you are using!!! No other rules - that’s it!!! Have fun, and keep it simple if you can!!! (Also, check out my P.S. below if you want to get yourself some new toys!)
Complete details (and an as-usual gorgeous creation!) can be found by visiting Sharon Johnson's blog, and by checking out the rest of the Stamp Simply team blogs... Julie and Jennifer. (Creations from more team members may be added later this morning.... not everyone has had time to get their samples ready yet due to the holiday!)
I did not get any new toys for Christmas, but on Christmas Eve day I did receive an order at the store of new Valentine stamps, and this gorgeous paper from Bo Bunny, so that's what I used for my card for today! I didn't get Christmas cards sent out this year so I'm thinking maybe I'll get some Valentine's made and send them instead. This gives me a good start on that road, and I just have to tell you... it was so nice to make something other than a Christmas card! Whew... can you say "burned out?!"
So, I hope you have time to do some stamping today, and join us in the challenge. Remember, you do not have to have a blog to play along! And, if you upload to Papercraft Planet, SCS or any online gallery, be sure to tag your photo with ssnotime67! Regardless of where you upload, be sure to leave a comment on Sharon's blog with a direct link to your creation!
Have a great day, and happy stamping!
