It's Kitchen Sink Monday once again, and this week it is Lori's turn to host our challenge! As many of you know, Kitchen Sink Stamps are famous for their multi-step images, especially the ones that turn out gorgeous flowers... roses, hydrangeas, pansies, and tulips to name a few. If you're unfamiliar with the concept of the multi-steps, please be sure to check out this awesome tutorial that Maria (the company owner and genius designer behind these stamps!) created for the Papercraft Planet newsletter last week! As well as having beautiful flowers in the Kitchen Sink collections, there are also many other images that are done in multi-steps like baseballs and bats, apples, hula girls, hearts, shells, bells and many more! Check out all the stamps in the Kitchen Sink Store to see what is available!
So, Lori's challenge to the Kitchen Sink Crew today was to create something using the multi-step stamps, but not flowers!
Check out this recently release set called 3-Step Bitty Tulip Bouquet! See the neat bowl at the bottom of this set that you can use to create a vase for your tulips? Check out the Idea Gallery for samples using the bowl with the tulips! You know what I thought when I saw that bowl? FISH BOWL! So, here's my card...
I just couldn't resist! I found these cute fish brads from Creative Impressions, and had to make a fish bowl! And "Best Fishes" puns are some of my most favorite cards, too!
I used my Half-Pint Playful Alphabet Buddy set to spell out "best." Then I used the "ishes" from "get well wishes" in the Never a Loss 4 Words set and the letter F in "from the heart" from the same set to create my custom greeting!
So, I hope you all like my play-on-words card for today! It was fun to create!
Check out the neat designs from the Kitchen Sink Crew members, too!
